Edge City Denver is a 7-day convergence of cutting-edge builders and innovators at the crossroads of Crypto, ZK, AI, Health Tech, Governance, Art, and Public Goods. It will take place from Monday, Feb 26th, to Sunday, March 3rd, 2024.

The 7-day experience—which serves as the launch event of Edge City—is a collaboration between a number of different events and organizers, who will each transform the space daily.

High-Level Schedule:

  • CHECK-IN — Monday, Feb 26: Today is really a day for checking in (starting at 10am and going until 8pm), and getting settled into your hotels etc. Please check in at the entrance closest to Santa Fe Drive. Uniswap Foundation will also be hosting a closed event focusing on Protocol Governance. The dedicated co-working space is open to all 7-day pass holders until 8pm.
  • ZERO KNOWLEDGE — Tuesday, Feb 27: Scroll takes over the day with programming around ZK. The dedicated co-working space is available until 8pm to all 7-day pass holders and holders of this day’s day pass. We will end the day with our Official Kickoff Party, starting at 8pm. Bring your dancing shoes.
  • DECENTRALIZED AI — Wednesday, Feb 28: Morpheus's day centers around Decentralized AI. The dedicated co-working space is available until 8pm to all 7-day pass holders and holders of this day’s day pass.
  • ONCHAIN COMMUNITIES — Thursday, Feb 29: Guild leads the day with discussions on Onchain Communities. A special event is hosted in another room for Women in Ethereum Protocol, a new initiative from the Ethereum Foundation focused on supporting women in building the core protocol. A Cafe with Daimo and Base begins. The coworking space is now closed, but you can cowork in the lounge when you enter. A Protocol Labs frontier tech happy hour begins at 6pm.
  • CRYPTO ENTREPRENEURSHIP — Friday, March 1: Stanford Blockchain Accelerator will cover an array of topics related to Crypto Entrepreneurship. Followed by a surprise lineup of crypto OGs who also happen to be talented DJs. The coworking space continues to be closed, turning into a chill overflow space for what will be a bustling conference day.
  • COMMUNITY DAY — Saturday, March 2: The day is co-created by Edge City, great partners like Cabin DAO and Drips, and 7-day pass holders and will include unconference sessions and lightning talks. It ends with a vibey party with three rooms: dance party room, meditation room, chill discussion room.

  • DECENTRALIZED SOCIAL MEDIA — Sunday, March 3: Mask Network wraps up the week with Social Oneness Day, a day of talks and hacking on all things decentralized social—in partnership with leaders of the top web3 social media orgs including Farcaster.

The consistent throughline across each daily experience will be built by the Edge City team, who were some of the co-creators of Zuzalu’s popup villages. Edge City Denver is a dynamic week-long journey of connection, learning, and collaborative creation.

Each unique topic day features high-quality sessions to foster learning and interesting conversations. Meanwhile, the Edge City team will provide morning cold plunges and coffee, healthy snacks, and wellness activities that will have you feeling your best so you can take it all in.

1. Who is hosting this event?

Edge City Denver is hosted by Edge City, a new organization dedicated to creating a home for cutting-edge innovators to connect, learn from each other, and explore how to best apply their talents in service of humanity. For our Denver event, we’re bringing together an amazing group of partners who will program each day.

While we’ll have consistent coffee and cold plunges every morning, the day-to-day “topic day” events will be distinct and organized by different leading teams (e.g., Uniswap, Stanford Blockchain, Guild), so each day will have a unique vibe, new people, and special content.

We aim to create nurturing spaces where thinkers and builders from diverse fields, including Crypto, AI, BioTech & Longevity, Philosophy, Governance, and more, can meet, work, and build the future together. The Edge City team spearheaded the production of the popup villages Zuzalu Montenegro and ZuConnect in Istanbul, which were known for their successful community-building and innovative environments.

Edge City Denver represents the launch event of Edge City, and the first in a series of pop-up villages planned for 2024. The focus will be on knowledge sharing, co-working, building and testing prototypes, and fostering a blend of health, fun, and innovation.

2. Who is going to be at Edge City Denver?

Participants include leading thinkers in crypto, AI, health tech, governance, art, and new cities. These individuals are the crux of the event, bringing together a diverse range of expertise and innovation.

3. What does the calendar of the week look like?

The week at Edge City Denver is filled with themed days hosted by different groups, ideation sessions, networking opportunities, and evening entertainment, all designed to maximize impact and exploration.

The dedicated coworking space is accessible until 8 pm on February 26, 27, and 28. After February 29, the lounge can be used for coworking.

4. What does a typical day in this pop-up village look like?

After registration and an opening ceremony to kick-start the 7-day experience, each day at Edge City Denver is packed with activities:

  • Facilitated and unstructured networking opportunities to connect with other participants.
  • Educational talks and unconference sessions with cutting-edge thinkers and organizations.
  • Delicious and healthy organic food and drink options—with ingredients sourced fresh and locally (will vary day to day, but at minimum, there will be morning bites and coffee).
  • Health and wellness activities include yoga, cold plunges, and an opportunity to secure a continuous glucose monitor.
  • Co-working spaces from Monday, Feb 26th thru Wednesday, Feb 28th
  • Fast wifi the entire time.
  • Loungey spaces for deep, intimate connections.
  • Vibey evening music and entertainment on many nights.
  • Cold-plunge every day at 8AM-11AM.
  • Sauna every day at 8AM-11AM and then again 3PM-6PM.

5. What is the location?

Edge City Denver will be hosted at Invisible City, a beautiful venue that can fit up to 300 people at once with three separate spaces—one for lounging, one for co-working, and one for educational sessions. The venue is memorable and purpose-built for optimal creativity, collaboration, and wellness.

6. How does this event relate to ETHDenver?

We are hosting this event during ETHDenver to make sure those who want to attend the official ETHDenver festivities can also do that. Given that Edge City Denver includes but isn’t just limited to crypto discussion, ECD adds to the vibrancy and dynamism of the wider ETHDenver conference.

7. What is the ticket price for 7-day passess, and what do I get with this ticket?

Early bird tickets are $199 USD (now sold out), and General Admission tickets are $269 (also sold out).

This gives you access to the venue for co-working space and Wi-Fi, and for every day, unless otherwise stated in the schedule, access to the daily events hosted by our day takeover partners.

We will only sell 150 seven-day tickets because our day takeover partners, hosting single-day events at Edge City Denver, will bring 200-300 people to the venue for their day.

Only people who have applied and have been accepted can purchase a ticket.

Once accepted, you can pay for your ticket in fiat via crypto on the ticketing platform we are using, Lemonade. Crypto options:

8. Are there scholarships for this event?

Yes, there are limited scholarships available, particularly for individuals traveling from outside the U.S., those early in their careers, and those who can contribute beyond financial value.

10. Tell me about the food options.

The event offers a range of food options—that will vary day to day (but at minimum, there will be morning bites and coffee):

  • Organic, locally sourced ingredients.

  • Organic protein options and vegan choices.
  • Detox drinks, coffee, and tea.

On most days, you will need to have a day pass ticket to access meal(s) for that day.

11. Additional Information about Accommodation and Travel:

The ticket does not come with accommodation.

We encourage you to find accommodation within walking or short Uber distance to the event location (Invisible City) for convenience and to facilitate impromptu private gatherings with other attendees.
